AMAZING RESTAURANT AND FOOD! I was in town for work and took out some clients. Steak, burgers and fish were great. Waiter was very friendly. Thanks!
Turdtastic!. This was a terrible, overpriced dining experience. The salads were ok but it was downhill from there. The ribeye was thin, fatty and over cooked. The veal was thin and a breaded piece of paper! Where’s the beef?! The service was fair. The entireWeight staff seemed stressedAnd the restaurant was not full. I think the prices are insane. The atmosphere is nice. Definitely not going back.
Great Thanksgiving meal!. We have been to Andy,s before and loved the food, so we decided to do Thanksgiving there this year. What a great decision. The food was marvelous, and ou waiter was excellent. Thanks for a great experience. We will visit you even more frequently and recommend you to family and friends.
Worst dining experience ever!. Had dinner at Andy’s last night. The service was good and the restaurant was attractively decorated but the food was awful. The spinach salad was tasteless and the chicken marsala was unrecognizable. The first time I ever left a restaurant and was still hungry. Would never recommend this place to anyone.
Food outweighs the service. We made reservations here and arrived on time. The hostess was snarky (probably because they only had one other table). She reluctantly sat us. The ambience immediately redeemed the place. Very quiet, romantic-ish, yet comfortable. Our server, who was very polite, soon approached us and took our drink orders. He seemed nervous, and awkwardly lingered after the order was taken. Several times throughout the night, he would come to check on us, and then take a few steps away, turn around, and mutter as if he was unsure if we were taken care of. Again, I want to stress that he was EXTREMELY pleasant, just very nervous. We started with an appetizer of fried green tomato sandwiching a crab cake. It was spectactular, both in presentation and taste. My date had been on a very strict diet, so she was craving a burger, and that’s what she ordered. I ordered the pork chop. Both were very good, again in both presentation and taste. The young man who came to remove our plates was clumsy, unkempt, and nervous. He, like our server, also seemed very nice, just unskilled. He almost dropped a plate, was reaching over my drink, and would have dropped my silverware in my lap if I had not caught it. I’m not too stuffy about these kinds of things, so I laughed it off and told him it was ok.When our server came to us about possible desserts, he immediately mentioned their dessert special of the evening, which he stated was excellent and unavailable. We laughed and joked with him about why he would even tell us about a dish that he knew was unavailable. Again, part of his nervousness I assume. We ordered a dessert, which my date said was good. The chef came out and spoke to us and explained his background. We thanked him for the wonderful food, and he kindly brought out an additional dessert for my date to take home. All in all, I think this place has great potential. The food was VERY good for the price, and the atmosphere was inviting and comforting. I stayed a while after dinner and had some drinks and talked. The staff, other than the chef and the nice manager who offered to escort my date to the restroom, was a bit lacking in skill. Which again, is not a big deal for most places, but Andy’s is obviously trying to market themselves as casual fine dining, and you just can’t do that with people offering unavailable options and dropping unclean silver people’s laps. I hope they do well and maybe just have some of their servers take a few classes on serving and bussing.I’ll probably go again. I already told a few co-workers that it’s a nice place and some of them told me that Andy’s has nice happy hour specials, so I’ll have to visit for that alone.
Food was not good. Overpriced for business lunch. Would not go back.
The was very good. The was also very good. We will be back!
