Excellent meal. What I like about Andys is the old New Orleans feel. Its nice, but at the same time not stuffy. Everyone that helped us tonight was friendly and happy. I had the fried green tomatoes with crab meat. As an appetizer we had some of the best onion rings in existence. The batter is made with Crystal hot sauce which paired nicely with the house ranch. Wedge salad was solid- the main star was the bacon. Nice thick squares of smoked heaven. Around the table there was veal with fettuccini, Andys burger and the scallops. No one left disappointed.

My husband and I wanted to go out at the last minute and I wanted steak! I really feel that Ruth Chris’ has become very commercialized and over priced for what you get so we wanted to try something new. We went to Andy’s Bistro and the steak was PERFECT! The service was wonderful (thank you Neel!) and the ambiance was wonderful, too. I thought the prices were great. I don’t know what restaurant the people who gave bad reviews went to but I am definitely going back.

Upon entering the restaurant, I wasn’t sure where to go. No one greeted me and since I’m not from the city I wasn’t sure where exactly where the hostess stand was. So I walked around looking in the bar and in the rest of the place to ask someone about obtaining a table for one. Finally one kind worker pointed me in the direction of the bathroom. . At this point I simply said thank you and left the restaurant. There are many other quality places for me to try.
