The food here was very mediocre… I had heard good things and was really excited to try it for myself! I got the Chicken BLT. The meat was a very small portion and the bun had a weird rancid butter taste. For a $16 sandwich after tax I expected more… Wont be coming back
Really good food. Casual atmosphere. It is so nice to have a decent place in Old Metairie. Service is quick considering how busy they are on the weekends. This is my go to breakfast spot.
The menu is limited with only a few soups, salads, sandwiches and breakfast items. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich. It was terrible! Everything was dry and the chicken had a terrible (rotten) taste. When I sent it back,the staff acted like I was crazy! No one apologized and then they sent me another sandwich! No thanks! I ordered soup & they charged me for it! My daughter wanted Caesar salad but it only came with kale (although, there IS romaine on the menu) so she ordered kids chicken nuggets and a house salad. The salad was delicious but overdressed. The tomato basil soup was okay. Not special, not terrible. But it was hard to eat because there were too many croutons. I wanted to like The Blue Line Sandwich Co. I just didn’t!
