A local friend suggested Boulevard tonight as we were Looking for something casual to grab some drinks and catch up. My dinner tonight was pleasant, with fantastic service. We had an appetizer of Asian chicken meatballs and I ordered the Cuban sandwich. Everything was delicious. I enjoyed my meal, but at the same time it was not heavy, which was great for a late night. Waiter was ver polite and attentive. Overall, a great experience.
Although the Boulevard is fairly new, this restaurant works like a well oiled machine. After Houston’s closed their doors, I frequented the Uptown location. Unfortunately, they removed great food from their menu & replaced it with smaller portions of mediocre food.The Boulevard has my old favorites; Smoked Salmon with TOAST POINTS, amazing sandwiches, salads piled high and mouth watering Prime Rib with horseradish sauce. I love sitting at the bar. The bartenders are extremely detailed and friendly. This is a cozy and inviting environment. No more having to wait for your entire party to be seated. All of the snobbery is gone and I have my favorite restaurant back. (Happy hour is from 3-6)
