Wow has this place really gone downhill! Wish I could put the Brooklyn Pizza in a time capsule to revert back when the pizza was actually edible. The last two times I’ve eaten here I’ve soon thereafter sat perplexed how I just managed to pay $20 for a burnt piece of cardboard with some cheese melted on top. VERY LITTLE SAUCE! They should advertise it as the new nanospread as it’s so minuscule that it’s almost not even present. The bottom of the crust is grayish & black throughout & a real challenge to try and stomach through each slice. The only motivation to finish eating is the stagnant thought in your mind that you don’t want to flush a $20 bill. Such a shame as previously mentioned, this used to be a good joint. Very unsatisfied & disappointed to say the least. The owners need to find someone who knows what they’re doing & strive to keep them there. You can find a better spot for pizza hands down. Don’t flush a twenty.

Oh garlic knots how I love you. Pizza is New York style and great! Beware of the xlarge! It won’t fit in the box. Favorite pizza in Metairie.
Finally went to Brooklyn Pizza Today. The staff was not hospitable. Don’t think they like their job. Asked for a slice and was told in an annoying tone only available at lunch. Ordered the Eggplant Parm and was asked which out of 3 choices while staring at me. Would have been nice to help me out since not familiar with the menu. I decided to leave. Was not feeling comfortable to stay.
Killer pizza. As close as it comes to real NY pizza. Excellent service and great pizza.
First and last visit. I went here for the 1st time because someone recommended this place. I’ll numerically list the deal breakers for this place:1. Walked in the door and my shoes started sticking to the floor.2. Strange smell, like a backed up toilet.3 Grabbed a menu to see what they had, but couldn’t find a clean table in the place. Food scraps or debris from previous customers on tables.4. The place is dark feels dirty. During the half hour I sat there waiting for my pizza, no employee came out to wipe or clean the tables. Also, no other customers came in. There were only 2 tables of people there. One was waiting for her pizza and left with it immedieaty.5. They have a rack next to the cash register with pizza slices for anyone that wants a slice. They sit ther for long periods of time exposed to the air and bacteria. BIG DEAL BREAKER.6. The two personal pizza’s they took to the couple at the only occupied table were burned black around the edges, and a deep debate started because the customers wanted unburned pizza. My pizza was ready then so I left, not knowing how the argument ended.7. When I got my pizza home, the entire crust was burned black; the center was almost raw, and they use canned mushrooms. Really? They use fresh onions and peppers but cheap out with canned mushrooms? Canned mushrooms alone are a deal breaker for me. Also, the pizza was VERY SALTY! So salty we couldn’t eat it. There’s $22.00 down the drain. NEVER AGAIN.I don’t understand why anybody eats here enough to keep this hole in business.OBVIOUSLY THEY AREN’T CONCERNED ABOUT LOOSING RETURN CUSTOMERS. I’LL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!
