Don’t waste your time. The service was horrible. all three of the employees behind the counter were rude to me. i was polite and smiled but they seemed to all be angry with me. not with the girl in yoga pants, they were friendly with her…i understand. however, the portions are small and the price is high. half the lettuce in my salad was brown and wilted. I have had the same experience twice now. never going back.
Great food.. We enjoyed eating here. The meat is wonderful. We ordered wraps and salad and hummus. We also ordered roasted new potatoes and a fried cheese roll. All very tasty. The atmosphere is almost like a lunch counter or deli. No frills, no fuss. Just fresh food. Will would love to go back!
Gyro wrap…yummy and substantial. I went for a late lunch and purchased a gyro wrap and grape leaves. The gyro meat was good. The hummus was tasty and home made. The grape leaves were only ok…they had tomato paste mixed in the rice (the 1st time I’ve seen this) and were very cold. A surprise bright spot was the side salad…the dressing was bright and tasty. Also the wrap was huge! With the side salad, hummus and 2nd pita it was a solid 2 meals. I will definitely return.

Great, healthy Veterans alternative.. Driving by you wouldn’t even know that food was served here, instead being guided by the name you would assume it was purely a market. It is that too, offering a variety of hard to find Mediterranean foods sundries and a small selection of wines. But it is also a cafe providing a variety of kebabs, shwarma plates, gyros., etc. The combo plate is always a good bet meat, salad, rice and hummos. Order at the counter, pay at the register, sit down and wait for your number. It’s a great, quick, alternative to the Veterans fast food jungle. 8/2010
