This place is just crazy they sat me in the bar so no one ever checked on us to see if we needed anything. The next day I called the restaurant to get an email address to send my complaint to, and can you believe the owner does not have an email address. I had to email an employee but never got a reply back. I will never eat here again
The food is always good without a doubt but the service and management is horrible. I ordered a take out order for delivery once and they sent it to an address i had previously ordered from even though i emphasized that it was NOT going to that location. After i found out it was sent there i called to let them know, they said they were sending another order to my house in 10 mins…well 45 mins later my food was still not here so i called again and they said they hadnt even started cooking the new order yet. At this point i asked for a refund and the owner tried to tell me he would send me new food for a DISCOUNT. After i repeated that i wanted a refund numerous times he finally agreed and didnt even offer to have my next meal free or to have a free apetizer to fix this huge mistake, but other than that the food is always fresh and hot and even if i try to boycott them for the terrible service i still find myself going back but i usually go pick my food up now
Service and food are so hit or miss. Some days the food takes an hour and service is surly and horrible. Other days food is pretty good and you get a great wait person. Have finally given up. Won’t be going back.
I went there for christmas with my boyfriend the was service was great but the food was not all that great. I forgot what the appetizer was called it was shrimp wrapped in something it was horrible. I had the cream corn and egg drop soup it was good but it was barely warm and I also had the pork fried rice it was good. My boyfriend had the mandarin chicken and the chicken was very dry.
Jason. In my opinion, Cafe East is a very good Chinese restaurant. My family dines in occasionally, but many times over gets take out for the four of us. The food is always hot and delicious, and everyone in my family is happy. I would recommend this to anyone. Chinese Buffet to me sucks.
A close buffet nearby called Oki nago closed and the two buffets merged to one. Before the merger I thought Cafe East was so so. I really like Oki Nago more than East so I thought when the two became one it would be awesome. WRONG! East is horrible. Cold food. Not so great sushi and the atmosphere was lack luster. I will not be coming back
Favorite Chinese restaurant. Their curry sauce tastes heavenly and their fried rice is perfect.
