  Fantastic Morrocan Dining. We brought our whole famly to Casablanca Restaurant in Metairie while visiting New Orleans. Everyone in our party enjoyed a fantastic meal. Highly recommend the shwarma but you won’t be disappointed with anything you choose!

  The best. Linda is the owner and she cooks from her heart . The chicken shwarma is the best I’ve ever had. I feel like the bad reviews might be from competitors because I’ve never had one bad dish here. If you feel like its a little pricey it’s because she uses the best quality.24 May, 2013OMG r u kidding me? This place is the yummiest. To start off, the owner loves cooking and you can taste it in her food. I love chicken shwarma with hummus. I also love that I don’t have to worry about this place being dirty since its kosher. Nom nom

  I was appalled by the restaurant. I order a chicken dish, it must have been precooked and in a fridge for weeks. It was still cold on the inside when they served. There was only another table occupied, so I guess other people know how bad this place is. There were some people at the restaurant that I presume they were the owners or the family of the owners going about their daily lives, talking loudly, I assume oblivious how bad their restaurant is. Did I mentioned that the chicken was more than $20? Popeye’s is a five star restaurant compared to this one. If the dish was about $4.50 my review would be less critical.

  THE BEST MIDDLE EASTERN RESTAURANT IN TOWN!!!. If you are looking to try original Moroccan cuisine this is the place to go!!! Every time I have been to Casablanca I tried different dishes, like the cuscus which is excellent specially with the Lamb and beef is my favorite nice portion, taste delicious if you have been to Morocco this will definitely bring you memories! 🙂 Another dish you must try is the Chicken Bastilla unbelievable mixture of favors cinnamon, filo dough, almonds and chicken!!!! looks just like a pie yummmmmmmmm. I will recommend this to anybody also noticed that is dairy free so those with lactose problems this is the place to go, gluten, vegans and vegetarians there are lots of options!!!

  My fiance and I ate at Casablanca tonight for the first time, IT WAS AMAZING!! I had the Cous Cous Lamb and Beef, It had great flavor, and I found out the chef rolls the semolina herself. My fiance had the Med Combo Plate, it was great because we got to try a little of everything. I will tell all my friends about it and recommend it to everyone. We will definitely be going back soon!

  Bad food. They where five of us that day. Only one server managing the whole restaurant; therefore, the service was extremely slow. It took them 30 minute to serve us our food that was terrible, we ordered different meals from the menu but we were very disappointed . My couscous dish was plain where it only had two pieces of zucchini and a lot of cabbage, after all I guess that is their way of making money from a dish that costs 22 dollars with a cost of 2 dollars to make it. I am very disappointed where I would never return there nor advice none of my friends to have that experience. Specially if you know about the real taste of Moroccan food and middle eastern one.

  Really great kosher food!!!. We had an amazing meal last week when vacationing in NOLA. The food was terrific. Lentil soup, salads, moussaka, and spinach pie. Reasonable prices, large portions, excellent service. Will definitely go back again and again.
