Wanted to love China Rose, but there were just too many things off about this one. 1- no American Express. I expect this from a small burger place, or deli or similar. But if Im dropping $22 on my meal, they can afford to take AMEX. 2. Ordered Mongolian Beef. This dish needs to have the meat seared and a little crispy. The beef does not have a good texture, and reminds me of beef thats normally used for buffet. 3. I wanted the dinner special with fried rice. But, the dinner comes with steamed rice. So, instead I was charged for the lunch special with extra meat which comes with shrimp fried rice (??????) Which leads me to 4- the shrimp fried rice was terrible. The shrimp are small frozen salad shrimp. These shrimp were so tiny. Im pretty sure there should be a law against using such poor quality seafood in the state of Louisiana. Im being a little dramatic, but this was not a $22 meal. (With soup). Food quality would have to significantly improve for me to make a return visit.
