In 2015 I moved back to NOLA (Metairie) after living elsewhere for 23-years. I grew up only a few blocks from Chong Qing. When I left only the Dominoes was available for delivery. I ordered from Chong Qing for the first time in 2015. It became my go to Saturday night meal and loved the food and quick delivery. Over the past few months, their service and quality diminished. Inaccurate orders (pints vs. quarts), late deliveries, and argumentative staff when I call about inaccuracies. Two days ago I ordered from GrubHub. After 1:15 hours I didnt receive my order that was to be delivered in 45-55 minutes. I called and was told the driver will be there in 15 minutes. One and a half hours for chicken lo mein, French fries, and two vegetable rolls? Really? This isnt the first time they didnt meet the estimated delivery. I cancelled my order. Maybe they are so popular now they cant meet demand? Two years ago Id have recommended this place with 5-stars. Now…order Papa Johns.
