Over Everything. Over cooked, over salted, over priced.I’m Done with them.
Very good breakfast!. Big servings, good service, bottomless coffee, and filled with locals. I would highly recommend this place.
So Disappointed!. Was excited to try this restaurant for the first time after seeing some good reviews. Ordered Shrimp on bun and Fries and Onions Rings for a coworker. The shrimp tasted like i was eating hot wings, sooooooo SPICY. Had to keep drinking water in between each bite. Horrible. I enjoy food that is seasoned well, but this was crazy. The fries were greasy. My coworker paid $6.50 with tax for the onion rings and it looked like a side portion (about 9 pieces) that you would get with a dish you order. She said her onion rings were not good. Was hoping to find a new restaurant to go to but Never Will Go Back.
Good breakfast. We went on a sunday morning about 9:30 and the place was full of happy diners. I had the country fried steak with two eggs over easy, hash browns and toast. The waitress was very attentive. The country fried steak and hash browns were the same you would find at IHOP and Cracker Barrel. The eggs were cooked perfectly. Husband had pancakes, bacon and hash browns. The pancakes were a generous size and the coffee was very good. This is the first place I have had country fried steak where I did not have to ask for more gravy. Restaurant was very clean.
Hmmm. My boyfriend and I got 2 entrees delivered in a timely fashion. He got the 2 eggs anyway and I got their daily special, which was BBQ shrimp. The eggs anyway was good. It was a decent, quick breakfast with enough food for 2. A LOT of hash browns. With the BBQ shrimp, the flavor was there, but the shrimp were overcooked to the point where I couldn’t peel the shrimp. If you eat seafood you know how much of a pain it is if they’re hard to peal. I’ll most likely eat there again when I’m hungover and don’t feel like moving.
Delightful neighborhood restaurant. We’ve eaten at Daisy Duke’s a couple times now with a group and all have been very satisfied. We’ve tried a variety of items from their menu and everything is quite delicious. The service has been excellent. The food comes out in a timely manner, is hot, plentiful, and absolutely wonderful.
Delicious Cajun food! We drove from our hotel in Uptown just for this restaurant and we’re so glad we did. Service was a little slow, but it was pretty empty for dinner, so everything had to be cooked then and there. I had the eggplant pirogue and my boyfriend had the alligator sausage. Both were delicious and came in huge portions! We could barely finish half of our respective meals. The oysters bienville were good too.
