Review. The charbroiled oysters were absolutely delicious, gumbo was delicious and service was efficient. Couldn’t ask for nothing more.
Lousey service. There at 8PM 4-9-14. Food was absolutely excellent. Service was lousey. Server was Paige!!!
Very disappointed!!!!!. Ate there today for the very first time. It was horrible! One of my younger sister’s came in from Ohio so we decided to go to Don’ s food was bad.I’m not saying bad as I did not like. I’m saying crayfish in seafood salad was bad!! Staff acted like okay what do u want. Brought 4 more New salads less crayfish had they nerve to charge us the same amount. Managers take on this was employee did not inform her about issue.And now I in all good faith, can not sympathise with staff at fast food or restaurant’s complaint about wages they don’t seem to care about the people who pay their salarieswhich is us the public!!!
Very slippery bar area. I entered a post describing an extremely bad fall in Don’s (Metairie) bar area last week due to slippery floors. It appeared…. then disappeared. Do you not post about dangers in dining establishments as well as poor management as a warning to other patrons ?
Food was terrible. The service was worse. And it is expensive compared to the quality of food. Way too overpriced! The gumbo is awful. Go to Houston’s! We have never had a bad meal their. And it’s always great service.
No more. The food is OKAY, more than likely… It’s frozen. I didn’t mind going at first, but the last time I went the service was pretty bad. The waitress acted like she was NOT interested in serving us. Two times we ended up getting up and leaving.
I had a nice dinning here in Dons sea food hut. The waitress was really nice and polite. Thank you I will come back soon.
