My visit to Dragos was Wednesday 11/28/18.The place was under construction so I was not impressed when I pulled into the parking lot. Shouldnt matter, I was there for the food.The construction was irrelevant, I was immediately greeted by the friendliness staff.After being seated, the waitress quickly arrived at our table requesting drink orders. It was a work lunch so no beer for me……Boooooooo! But hey its a corporate world and Im just trying to survive. Dont worry. I drank in the evening.Ordered the charbroiled oysters as an appetizer and my main course was shrimp & grits with Tasso.Let me tell you…those oysters were sick, and I mean sick in the most positive way.The shrimp & grits were absolutely ridiculous, and again IMean ridiculous Im the most positive way.A colleague got some onion rings and I tried a few of those too…..scrumptious!!Dragos is well worth a visit in my opinion.New Orleans cuisine at its finest!Nourriture delicieuse!!!

Amazing food and amazing service.We waited maybe five minutes to be seated. Knockouts for the lunch, which were all shared were the lima beans, the snapper fisherman style, and the pork belly. Other lunch items were also very good, salads were fresh. We will definitely go back.
Dragos claim to be the originator of the chargrilled Oyster and whether or not that’s true I do not care.But their version is excellent. The ones I had last night were the best I have ever had. The oysters were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The fresh French bread was just yummy. The butter and sauce to sop up the bread was decadent. I know white bread and butter are a deadly combination but my doctor forgive me, I ate the whole loaf!
An excellent place to try at least once. Group had char grilled oysters, raw oysters, shrimp Alfredo, bbq shrimp, mixed grill. Oysters were excellent. Largest I’ve ever gotten and freshest. Mixed grill was good as were the shrimp. Great place to visit
Have been here a couple of times… The broiled oysters are of course delicious. Last time, I had seafood gumbo and a wedge salad. Both were mediocre. I know this is nit picky, but I was really disappointed that the salad had imitation bacon bits! Also, perhaps I’m just a noob, but I wasn’t entirely sure what to do with the crab shells in the gumbo.
Dragos is a great place in Metairie where you can enjoy some great charbroiled oysters. They also gave a location downtown. The lobster is delicious as well.
