Pretty bad. As a fan of hole in the wall Chinese joints, this place caught my attention. I stopped in for lunch and It was pretty awful…. The egg rolls are terrible, worse than the frozen ones you can get out of the freezer section. The fried rice was not very fried at all, pretty much lightly fried white rice with big chunks of white rice. The General’s chicken tasted like it had been re-heated in a microwave. So many times I’ve been surprised with great food from a shady looking little spot, but too bad the food matched the building in this case. Many better options in the area.

Unappealing all around. From vets, this place looks like a hole in the wall which could potentially have good grub… After eating there i know its just a hole in the wall and not the cleanest one either
So bad it’s almost good. You know those places athat are so bad you like them. Eggroll House is almost at that point. The eggrolls are just like the rolls you’d buy frozen from Sam’s. Deep fried. Not great, not bad. They also now serve sushi, but you’d have to pay me a lot to try sushi from there. Hilarious concept and a local tradition
Not just egg rolls anymore. This applesauce is from the apple orchard but it is reserved for the bosses. try the egg rolls, very feng shui and succulent . or the waffle wrapped breakfast egg roll (off menu)
Decent Drive-Through Chinese. Drive-through chinese, not gourmet. The hot and sour soup is very good and the combination plates are decent enough for the price and quanity.
Good. When I lived in Metairie this was my favorite spot. You got a lot of food for about $6. The food was great and they have good egg rolls.
