Killer club sandwich. Great turkey club sandwich! No skimping on the turkey or bacon, two different kinds of cheese. Came with a lot of chips. Managed to eat three quarters of it. Husband had half hot sausage poboy, he said it was very good and he is picky. It was right around noon and the place was packed but the people working here have this all down to a science and the wait was reasonable, actually it was faster than I had anticipated. Parking lot is about 4-5 spots in front but there is ample parking on the street. Friendly service. Chicken smelled heavenly, can’t wait to go back.
Best po boys, tamales, chicken.its all good here!!!oh,and the Italian fig cakes.love to that lady who makes them!!
Regular customer. Outstanding. The tamales are the best in town (by far) and only 6.95/dozen. The seafood platter is excellent. Overall….hard to beat. One problem…hard to find a parking spot.Bob (St. Bernard Parish)
Best tamales in New Orleans ! This place is on my list everytime I body New Orleans ! Go falcons! http://www.nauticalshipsinbottles.com
Tamales dahlin’.. A very good rendition of this particular style — the thickness and length of a big thumb in a paper wrap — the cornmeal part was neither dry nor mushy , and when I bit into each one , there was a bit of juicy flavor. And they had a fair amount of meat filling. As good as this style (not my favorite ) gets. Priced about 7 bucks a dozen.Chili was meaty — no beans — a bit salty. And a respectable cuban sandwich.A real kind of local place in a neighborhood. I feel good going there.
Tamales. Only place I know of to get great old school New Orleans tamales. Fried chicken is also very good. Parking is almost non-existent though and their hours are old school as well
Club Sandwich. Best club in or around the city. You can make a meal off of just the meat. My customers ask me to bring them shrimp po boy’s from there all the time. Highly recommend.
