Used to love Impastado’s but not going back. Very over booked and understaffed tonight. Drinks very slow to arrive and couldn’t get a second one. Food out of order and salads completely forgotten. Bill had wine on it that wasn’t ours. Told the number two in charge that it was not their normal good service and food and he agreed, but that was it. Overall, food was a 3.5 (usually a 4), service was a zero (usually a 4 also). Going elsewhere for Italian in Metairie from now on.Update:It’s now 2:00 am and my adult daughter is vomiting. Another reason we are not going back.
This restaurant was highly recommended by my doctor. I and my fiancee were excited about finally being able to go because of the days she works. It turn out to be the worst dining experience we ever had. After being seated we were basically ignored and treated differently from other patron. We were made to feel that we were not welcome to be there. The waiters spoke to is when only necessary. No one greeted us. The only highlight of the night was meeting the singer Mr Roy. A very classy guy. He was the only one deserving og a tip. I voice my concerns to the owner. But he was nonchalant about. I guess treating people of color with distain is standard policy. On top of that because of the attitude of the place I did not feel comfortable eating the food. Which wasnt the price.
