This WAS my favorite king cake until I received my cake 5 days old = stale. The initial problem was with UPS, but I’ve been in contact with Manny who said he would get with the UPS rep to see what the issue was. I have not heard from anyone since even with a follow up email requesting status. I paid $56 for a king cake that was not only late but inedible by the time I received it. Randazzo’s made the decision to add an extra $6 (next day air charge) to the already outrageous shipping charges for a $16 cake. I live an hour from the bakery…the cake was not flown in and UPS held it all weekend to deliver it at 4pm on Monday. The funny part is I had a dress delivered from the same city to my house which made it to my porch by UPS on Friday. I will NEVER order or recommend from here again due to lack of communication. I have pictures, emails and tracking numbers to back all of this up.
