Not a bad pizza. We went there at 830 a half hour before closing , had a BBQ chicken pizza and a salad. Service was good and friendly. The pizza was good , the crust is a little diffrent , There was no rush to get us out at closing.I have eaten here a couple of times, and will do so in the future.
Wholewheat Pizza Crust piled high with toppings. Never been disappointed here.Great combinations of pizzas with crust options. Love this place.
Best Pizza!. My husband and I always stop there when we visit the South Shore, with good reason, their pizza is the best we’ve found. The crust is wonderful, thin and tasty. One can split a pizza, with any combination, no fuss, no muss. The wait staff is always friendly and super efficient. Have never had a bad experience. The muffalettas are great, and their po-boys are fantastic.Highly recommended.
The customer service is so dreadful, and they don’t serve appetizers or breadsticks after 5pm (strange, no?). So, you pay 30 dollars for a large pizza, and it’s pretty good, but not worth the price or hassle of dealing with the staff, even when you take it out. All in all, save your money and support up-and-coming local pizzerias. Just because it’s been there for a long time, doesn’t necessarily mean it deserves that longevity.
My husband picked up pizza and a salad from Mark Twain’s tonight. The food was good, but the service was appalling. Two teenaged waitresses at the register initially ignored him and then argued over who was going to ring him up (apparently neither of the waitresses wanted to work). They even went so far as to ask the woman making the salads to do it. I hope they work on their customer service before we give them another chance.
Ever since the new owner took over this place has not been the same Gio’s Pizza is the BOMB
