Know what to order from Mr Ed’s. 10-10-14 stopped in to Mr Ed’s for lunch, usually order the fried chicken because its awesome but decided to order the veal parmesan, veil was great, the gravy for the pasta was exceptionally terrible, it ruined the pasta. I just don’t understand how a gravy can be that bad? Its a good place to eat at but they shouldn’t use gravy out of a can. Its easy enough to make a huge pot of gravy and use that across the day.17 Oct, 2014Know what to order. 10-10-14 stopped in to Mr Ed’s for lunch, usually order the fried chicken because its awesome but decided to order the veal parmesan, veil was great, the gravy for the pasta was exceptionally terrible, it ruined the pasta. Please do not polute our neighborhood (French Quarter) with BAD food. If you can not improve the quality, please move out.. Seafood is over cooked and very small portions (shrimp and oysters were the size of my thumb nail)After eating the crawfish, I threw up all night, and for this privilelage I paid $70.00 with the tip.
Grilled shrimp and catfish. I had this meal on Saturday, Sept 13. I specifically asked that the fish and shrimp be lightly seasoned. Did not happen. Both were overcooked and loaded with seasoning. Shrimp were dry and browned with seasoning. This dish came with mixed vegetables which were overcooked and salty. I really don’t think I can recommend this location. I was not pleased with my food.
Fried Chicken. Wonderfully fried chicken in a truly southern manner – not spicy, but extremely flavorful. Crispy and NO grease = perfectly cooked.
Horrible and overpriced. I live down the street from it and don’t eat there
Very bad service!!! The older male bartender manger is very rude, unprofessional and has a dirty appearance! I will never go back!! They claim to have the best fried chicken, oh no… It’s nasty!!!
