The fried food in New Orleans is King! I had the taste of new orleans. This dinner, was relatively small, it consisted of thin sliced catfish, hush puppies, fried shrimp, potato wedges, and gumbo. The gumbo that I was the most excited about was thick, as far as rouxs, but it was not very well flavored. The catfish was fried relatively well but at the same time it was weird that it was thin sliced. I had to fold my catfish over in half to eat it. I did not like the tartar sauce. The fried shrimp was tasty considering that I dont like shrimp at all. The fried foods were prepared in a very flavorful way. I was impressed with the techniques used to batter and fry the fried portions. The potato wedges were seasoned well and they were fried crispy on the outside but they were soft on the inside. All food were prepared fresh and served piping hot. The hushpuppies at this establishment were actually the best that I have had in New Orleans. I would like to come back to this place and try some hamburgers. They were reasonably priced, quantities were mediocre, and the service was polite and quick.

New Orleans Hamburger is a family favorite. Food is always delicious. The burgers are great. Good salads, seafood, red beans, and more. Kids meals are substantial. Great drink selection. I especially like the strawberry unsweet tea. Vanilla ice cream cones are free to top it all off! Big TVs to watch games too. Ladies bathroom is like a tiny closet, but interesting. Service is usually good. You order at the register and they bring the food to you, and then check on you often.

Generally good. Don’t get the thin fried catfish. It’s mostly fried batter and very little fish. Half the pieces in my order was so thin, when I bit into it, there was no fish, just fried batter. The burgers are good.

Only in New Orleans can they sell you fish without actually selling you fish! If you want fish do not buy it here. The batter is thicker than the barely there fish. A machine must have sliced the fish. There’s no way a person did it. There’s more mayo on a sandwich than there is fish in their ‘thin fried catfish’

Not Happy with this anymore.. NO Hamburger and Seafood Co. on 3/15/2015 was unclean slow and gumbo was cold. Two of our party of five had to wait at least 10 minutes watching other three people eat. We couldn’twait for them because our food was already cold. If I’m going to pay 65 dollars for 3 people to dine with no alcahol or appatizers I don’t think I should have to stand in a line for 20 minutes to place an order. I should be served at a clean table and not have to round up my own silverware. On the up side they haven’t forgotten how to cook, but that does not out weigh the downside. I’ll miss you NO Hamburger and Seafood Co. Good Luck Chuck from Metairie

Gormet Diner. We loved the feel of this place! Very sweet staff! Yummy food! Just splendid!

Best fries. I had a small gourmet burger with fries. The burger itself was good, but the fries were off the chart. They came with a garlic butter sauce. I know my wife will love that, so the next time she comes to visit, this will be one of our stops. I am looking forward to exploring more the menu, and will make updates as I go.
