I appreciate that they remade my dish to be gluten free, as I had ordered it, but it simply looked like they had scraped the entire dish onto a gluten free stamped plate rather than remake it. The tofu (from the coconut curry vegetable plate) was in pieces by the time it got to me, not in square like it normally is. The dish was not as rich as normal when it came to the sauce and the presentation was lacking. All in all, I’m disappointed in PF changs. Just another restaurant that you used to dress up for but now expect very little from (as in they don’t even wear dress pants anymore, they wear jeans. When the hell did that happen!?) the waiter was very nice and friendly and I’m leaving him a good tip, but I’m disappointed I the food quality. I could have gotten something from a takeout Chinese place for half the price and better quality.
Very horrible hostesses
A great restaurant. Yes it’s a national chain, and I know New Orleanians tend to be scared of chains. . But this place rocks. The dumplings are divine. Crispy honey shrimp is my favorite. Can get crowded around lunch time with all the cougars out shopping at nearby lakeside mall. . But a great Chinese dish experience. I love going there.
Will return. Nice atmosphere, waiter was really upbeat and food was wonderful. Manager came by and gave us a free appetizer for our next meal and our waiter brought us a free dessert after we finished our meal. Overall experience one of the best we have ever had.
I was extremely unimpressed with this P.f. Changs. Tasted like it was pulled from the freezer and popped into the microwave. AWFUL!
Wish it was better…. I finally tried this place and did not like it. If I can rate my experience here, I would rate it 4/10. My boyfriend & I had ordered the calamari for our appetizer, and I want to say it was the worst I ever had. My waitress forgot to bring out my soup. It took a really long time for our entree to come out. But, i’ll give them credit for the crispy honey chicken, the chicken was surprising really good, but I did not like the rice, it was dried.
Excellent restaurant. My wife, who is from China, and me were very pleasantly surprised! The flavors of the food were relatively authentic and at least better than other Chinese restaurants in the area. I would definitely recommend and we will be going back soon. The tofu lettuce wrap appetizer is awesome! The flavors of the Kung Pao Chicken(gong bao ji ding) were very similar to the flavors I had while in China. We also liked the cucumber, green bean, and asparagus sides!
