The shrimp/pork spring roll were really good! Not to gummy from the paper and the meat/noodle/veggie ratio was spot on. The peanut sauce was amazing with just the right amount of heat.I for grilled chicken vermicelli. Ok, so it was just ok. It lacked in flavor! I wanted some cilantro or mint or something in my vermicelli to break it up. The fish sauce was good and helped but I wasn’t writing home about it. All in all, I’ll come back. I also loved the decor. It was comfy, clean and nice. The prices were very good as well. M
This is more of a fusion restaurant as it is not very authentic. The Crab Rangoons contains bacon, this is not traditional. I was less than pleased with the shrimp spring rolls. Lots of noodles & 3 shrimp halves wrapped in rice paper. The peanut sauce was boring, probably not house made & no chopped nuts. The wonton soup was hearty & delicious! The soup was the highlight of my meal. The crispy noodles with seafood were tasty, but I was hoping for a more exotic dish. I would have liked a larger Vietnamese coffee, like other Vietnamese restaurants have…. Not the small tea-cup full they gave me.I truly wanted to love this place, but I doubt I’ll be back.
