For the prices should have clothe linen. Paper over clothe tables and 32 dollar steaks ? I mean no in between . No other steaks to choose from except a 22 oz steak ? No wonder everyone waddled in after us ! The roast beef was good and rather a real size for a large poor boy and High quality beef ! Not much garlic flavor but still tasty The fried chicken was real good Home made and worth the wait . Prices okay fir sandwiches and chicken but pricey on everything else
Joanna from Virginia. On a recent trip to Metairie, my family went to Porter and Luke’s Restaurant. I was amazed at the deliciousness of the meal I ordered. Sorry, I don’t remember the name of the dish, but what I can’t forget is how wonderfully delicious my meal was! I ordered the eggplant stuffed with crawfish. The outside of the eggplant was fried and had a delightful crispyness. The crawfish was in a cream sauce. While eating my meal, I thought I was in heaven and I can’t get the meal out of my mind! Since returning home to Virginia, I’ve told all my friends of how wonderful this dish was. I wish we had this restaurant here in the Virginia/D.C. Metropolitan area!
Their regular menu is full of Italian/Creole favorites but the daily specials and fresh fish is the reason to dine at Porter and Luke’s.
I’ve been here a few times so far and no complaints. The staff was friendly, the hot blue crab dip is amazing, good wine, and good food!
Onion rings homemade great. Gumbo is very good. Had stuffed catfish , very good. Great prices also.
Love P&L’s. LOVE everything that I’ve had at Porter & Lukes. As they are still a relatively new restaurant, I think they are stil working some things out. The food has been GREAT, as is the service. Can’y wait to get back to see the new daily specials
