Best Roast Beef Po-boy In A While. The meat and gravy had nice flavor, and the gravy and dressings were well proportioned. The bread was nicely toasted, and Qwick Check is a new favorite in Metairie.
Looking for the best Roast Beef Poboy. Hands down the best R.B. Poboy in the metro area! My grandparents use to own restaurants/bars in New Orleans many years ago and this poboy reminds me of my familys poboy from childhood.
Po-Boys. All the food is great.Awesome
My friend recommended this place, so I stopped in for a roast beef poboy. Roast beef was well seasoned, albeit cold, gravy and all. However, without going into detail, I was disgusted with some of the things I saw in this store. I could not, in good conscience, recommend this to anyone. Schmutz
They are the poboys that knock your socks off! I paid around $10 for a DELICIOUS poboy! Although the store itself has no astetic appeal and honestly made me think twice before ordering, I am so happy with the quality of my poboy. You can’t go wrong!
Neat corner store with good over stuffed po-boys next to buds broilers. Gotta 1/2 shrimp dressed w/a side chef salad (b/c they ran out of gumbo, bummer i know) n a can drink for under $10. Not bad, price-wise n the people working behind the counter are funny, real down to earth New Orleans area folks. The seating area is bigger than you might expect and it has to be a little better for you than bud’s, next door, right?Try it out if you’re in the area and don’t wanna go to Frankie and johnnie cross w. Napoleon. I never liked the ambiance of that place even if the po-boys are slightly cheaper.
Excellent RBPB. As inclined as I am to take the contrary view, I will here join the consensus that this unassuming place has a roast beet po-boy that is about as good as it gets. The meat is more like a pot roast and my best description is something between sliced meat and debris, it is falling apart but still firm, and it holds in a lot of the juice that, as you eat, accumulates in your plate, so if by chance you have a dry bite, you can remedy that ad-jus style. Don’t even try to eat this in your car. The onion rings seemed frozen (or that style) and are not worthwhile.
