DO NOT BUY BOILED CRAWFISH! I got very ill from eating boiled crawfish from there. It was the first time I’ve ever gotten sick from seafood. Seems as though some fresh ones were mixed with some really old ones as some had a strange taste. NEVER AGAIN will I buy seafood from Robert’

Pricey groceries, but the prepared foods seem reasonable.. I went to this place to pick up a tray of jambalaya for a small independent movie crew. they helped me heat it up and while that happened I perused the prepared foods. everything looked good, but I decided to get a half muffaletta. Which i’m still working on. Tastes pretty good! I’ll be back for more sometime soon.

You’re doin’ a heckuva job, Robert’s!. The owners of Robert’s are the same as the owners of Zea’s, so you know they’re going to have some good recipes. They know how to cook and it’s very cheap. For $5.99 you get the one entree two sides meal. Each day, there are specials, Monday is for red beans. Friday catfish. Gumbo on Wed? Almost everyday they have catfish. It’s fried perfectly and they give you two plump pieces. Sides range from green beans to mac and cheese (delish!) to fried okra. Varies by day and time. I’ve yet to have anything that is not good. Sometimes it’s excellent and I’d put it as one of the best values in town. The bakery is also very good and they make beignets, cookies, and cakes worth bringing home to mama. The groceries are not very good and the seafood is terrible – most is bought from China and Peru. But the hot plates are a go to.Stop in and let Robert’s know how classy their work is. They will thank you for it!Two grocery baskets WAY up!
