Nice Dumplings – Fast Service. The clean contemporary space is one of the most enjoyable in Old Metairie, and I’ll definitely be back to sample more of the menu.
I had an Island Breeze bubble tea and the bo kho banh mi. The bubble tea used the smaller, firmer tapioca balls that I’m not a fan of, but it tasted excellent nonetheless. The Bo kho was sweeter then I’ve had elsewhere.. like, tomato sweet. Great French bread, though. Not bad for the price.
Non traditional & overpriced yet efficient service. Non traditional and froufrou Vietnamese selection… while the menu entertains the fact that the food is traditional – this is far from the NOLA scene or any other staple I’ve had around town. Reminded me of a place I ate in Uptown Dallas. The rolls, pho selection, and bahn mi were all overpriced.
Maybe if the food was actually decent you could charge the prices you do. Too high and quality of food sucks!!!!
Not the best in town. But it was good. It is a bit over priced considering that there are so many cheaper Vietnamese places that actually taste better. All in all if I was in the neighborhood and didnt feel like driving anywhere else then I would go again.
Vietnamese food for beginners. I will agree with other reviews, the service is quick and efficient. Their prices are an easy 1$ to 3$ higher then almost any other Vietnamese restaurant i have been to in the New Orleans area but you are eating in old metairie. We had the Pho, spring rolls and a Bnh m. They were all uniformly bland and lacking. If you are the type that has traveled the far corners of New Orleans east and the west bank in your exploration of Vietnamese restaurants then this place is not for you. If you live in old metairie or have only just started to dip your proverbial toe into the flavors of Vietnamese cooking, then please continue to patronize this restaurant. They seem like really nice people.
Casual atmosphere. Good noodle bowls but a bit pricey compared to other local Vietnamese restaurants.
