Best coffee in the neighborhood. I got an iced coffee and white chocolate raspberry scone. The coffee was good and actually had a slight flavor of chocolate…never a bad thing. All of the baked goods are made in house. The scone was respectable. Staff was friendly. Much better than PJs.
Lovely ambiance, courteous staff. Today was our first time visiting Royal Blend on Metairie Road. The food was excellent, reasonably priced and well presented. They serve chicory coffee which is a huge plus for me and have some of the best cannoli my New York bred husband has tasted. I wish they had a location on the North Shore of Lake Pontchartrain! I saw some reviews that were not kind to the staff. I must say I was of an entirely different opinion. We found them to be extremely helpful, courteous and friendly.

Icy Coffee things. Most coffee places offer frozen coffee drinks made in a variety of ways and called a variety of things. Here they are in a kind of slushie machine which is superior to the kind made with a blender. Much better than most others in town.
Relaxing coffee house. The Royal Blend is near my relatives’ houses in Old Metairie, so I’ve stopped there many times. As good a latte as anyone’s I would say. Like the atmosphere and lots of papers to read. Really nice neighborhood, upper class homes worth checking out, plenty of ancient oaks.
Food isn’t super exciting but the coffee is great and the courtyard is lovely. There’s also a nice public restroom. diningwithmonkeys.com
