Mmm good. Best muffaletta in the city. Shrimp po boy excellent too. Everything good. Always super friendly service. Been going there for 30 years. Moved away, but try to go back when ever close by.

The cheese on the fries could have been further melted. . But no biggie. My friend really enjoyed the roast beef po boy as well. You don’t want to miss this spot. Truly a great New Orleans institution. Just an old school place.
Went today for lunch and ordered the pot roast poboy and fries. Everything was absolutely delicious! Home cooked pot roast and perfectly cooked fries. Decor is fresh and employees were extremely friendly. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for anyone looking for a quality lunch stop.
I love finding these little side road gems in NOLA. This place is definitely one of them. I had the roast beef. Glad I didn’t know anyone in there cause it was delicious and sloppy. Just like I like em. I Will have no issue with coming here again. This kind of place is what makes New Orleans so special. People here customers and employees are all very pleasant.
Awesome poboys and muffs. Roast beef poboy and muffuletta and outstanding. Been going here for years and it is always good.
Underrated. Spitale’s is a good, if not great, poboy joint hidden behind buildings off of the I-10 service road. I recommend the roast beef (debris-style) and the meatball poboys. The prices are extremely low and it is worth a stop if you are in the area.
