Reading past reviews, it looks like this place hasn’t changed a bit. I tried to eat here two different times. Both times, I called ahead to make sure they would be serving more than just donuts and was told that they would. As soon as we showed up, they waitress angrily told us that they didn’t feel like cooking, so we could only order donuts. We were furious because we passed up other decent establishments since we had called ahead to make sure this would not be a problem. Not surprisingly, we left immediately. Another time, my husband and I tried to catch Sunday morning breakfast and waited for nearly 20 minutes to be served even though there were about 5 other people in the restaurant. Most of which were older white men chatting and drinking coffee. The food was greasy and the service was terrible. I could never recommend this place to anyone for any reason unless they’ve recently learned some serious lessons in customer service (which I highly doubt).

Great burgers. This place has great burgers, but i have to agree the service left something to be desired. Not only did the waitress give my husband the wrong drink twice but when it came to being rung up they automatically assumed that my husband and i wanted to be on the same check as our friend( after the fact that when we ordered we said that he would be separate). When we went to correct them they didn’t know how to void the transaction and asked it him if he could just pay us instead and charge the amount on our card. Normally i wouldn’t have been so upset about this kind of thing but we were the only people in the restaurant so it wasn’t like they honestly forgot in the midst of serving other customers. I will be going back to try the donuts…
Weirdly hostile experience. Always on the lookout for new late-night places, my husband and I stopped in here one evening for something to eat. I would have considered actually getting a meal, but the guy behind the counter was pretty exceptionally unfriendly, so I wasn’t sure I wanted him to be charged with preparing my food. The two donuts we ordered before fleeing were fine. Nothing special, and not worth the return trip.
Stick to donuts.. Unless you’re over the age of sixty five, the counter help won’t look twice to serve you. Oh and they stop serving kastleburgers early so don’t be fooled by the neon signs.
Badboy. Great cheeseburgers and fries. Love the glaze donuts but need to get those early in the AM while they’re fresh. Good place to go after you have been out partying and want some hot juicy burgers.04 Aug, 2010Best Burgers in Metairie. The burgers are so juicy you need a stack of napkins close at hand while you devour this real meat burger. It is cooked after you place your order and the way you like it. The real cheese burger is my favorite with a side order of fresh cooked fries. Only thing missing is a chocolate malt to make this a blast from the past!!!!
