Good food. Perhaps the best in and around New Orleans. Some items such as paneer tikka, malai kofta and garlic naan are top notch. Service is usually courteous and prompt.
Food is okay; nothing so exciting about it. Daal tadka was good and they made it spicy as requested. Dosa was very disappointing and the chutney was frozen. Better try the north indian food only.
I went for buffet to this restaurant expecting some Indian food , The food was horrible ,worst I ever had in my life. Honestly speaking , personally I had started hating Indian food after having food at this place . The staff is very rude and may shout or scold you if you do not give them 22 % of the bill as tip amount even on buffet . If you really want to start hating Indian food ,Taj Mahal New orleans can help you achieve that . No offense , sorry if the owner of this so called food shop is reading this review .
Food is so so. No of food items in buffet was limited. There was only one non veg item (chicken). The dessert was awful. I would not like to visit this place again.
Best Indian food! Love the butter chicken, lamb vindaloo, keema matar, just everything. Great samosas and the different kinds of naan are worth trying. My favorites are the garlic and keema naan
Ms. Anila Keshwani… A True Professional Redefining Service in New Orleans, A Star City for Tourists. We had the privilege of working with Anila for more than a year for my son’s wedding in Roosevelt in last March. We were in South Texas. My son was in Chicago & bride’s families were in New Orleans. It was a logistical nightmare! Guess what, it was mostly for Anila’s professionalism, her untiring service with smile, and going the extra miles to exceed the expectations of the customer, the event was a success beyond our all expectations. If you ever consider an event in NOLA, PLEASE talk to Anila first! You’ll save tons of headache & precious time to make your event a success. She is one of the most valued service provider we have discovered in this tourist town.Dr. & Mrs. Sarkar, Edinburg, Texas.
