I’ve been enjoying the cooking these folks have been doing for over 20 years at various locations in the Nola. From the Elmwood mall food court to canal street to my first visit at this location yesterday. I had the lunch buffet which was simple, tandoori chicken, chicken curry, butter chicken, good nan and lentils. Come to think of it there was nothing on the buffet but chicken, meat wise…… Everything was good enough to scratch my itch for Indian cuisine but I wouldn’t say anything knocked my socks off. Service was decent and as for cleanliness, they must have remodeled or something because though not spotless, the place was neat, table cloths & whatnot, clean but is obviously in an old building a little lived in. A more than decent lunch experience, all things considered.
