After reading reviews I decided to try it, got there on a Friday with my 2 kids and the place was busy but tables still available. We stood at the front door for about 5 minutes waiting without being acknowledged by the staff; I went up to the bar and asked where I needed to go to get seated. I was told to sit at any table, waited 10 minutes and no body came into I got up again and spoke to the bartender. She was friendly apologized and stated she would we with us immediately. We noticed the Chicago pizza needs 45 minutes to prep so we ordered NY pizza and the oysters appetizer. The waitress took the order and forgot our drinks. I got up again to the bar and asked her if she forgot our drinks she apologized again the sodas took another 5 minutes to arrive. The appetizer arrived a while after and it was very good!! The pizza soon after but it was average, the dough was taste less the sauce average but tasted home made (too sweet for my taste). Once the food was delivered we were forgotten once more until I got up to ask for my check. I am guessing I just was out of luck that day, but it will be a long time before I eat there again and it will not be because I suggest we go there. I will give it a try once more only if one of my friends suggests it and I have to give in. There are too many other good places to eat in this city to settle for average or below average food with very bad service.
Great food! The owner Darren greeted us and was very friendly. The Chicago pizza was awesome.
AMAZING location to satisfy that pizza craving you get so often. DELICIOUS pizza and INCREDIBLE service. Ask for Dara, she’ll take care of you 🙂
Good Pizza bad Service. The pizza is good however I was very disappointed with the service I received today. I will not be back.
Best Chicago Style Pizza in New Orleans. Went there specifically for Chicago-style pizza, which has proved elusive outside of Chicago and Miami. Restaurant is under new family ownership. Owner and his daughter provided great service. Restaurant was busy, but not slammed for Sunday lunch. At the advice of a friend and because Chicago-style pizza cooking time takes around 45 minutes, ordered the pizza a day in advance. Crust was only OK (IMO, it needed more salt and olive oil). Sauce and ingredients were fresh and great. Cheese was caramelized and generous. Restaurant was clean, bright, and comfortable. Soccer game was playing on a large TV that was turned down, making it easy to talk. Definitely a restaurant I would recommend and go out of my way to return to.
Great!!!. Pizza was delicious, everything tasted fresh. Service awesome!!! Owner personally came to our table to ask how everything was. Wonderful dining experience. Will definitely be back.
Best pizza in town!. During my visit, we had a party of four. Sat at the high table in front of the bar. Got our drinks and appetizers very quickly and the next to largest pizza available! Pizza was beyond delicious. Freshest ingredients only, and the proof is in the taste! Darren was so kind as to make us a second pizza after half of the first one was claimed by the brick oven!!! Making this a regular stop for pie from now on. Try the pizza beignets!!!!!!!
