Before Katrina they use to have the best burgers, but I think they changed the meat bc they’re more dry now. Good bar food, nice selection of things to choose from including beers. They could you more pool tables.
I used to love this place – I haven’t been in a while because I moved – I went by there Friday (7/24/2015) the service was terrible. There were 5 people behind the bar. I ordered food from the blonde chick – didn’t get what I ordered. A fella came in sat down next to me at the same time I needed a drink, we both waited 20 mins before I got up and went and told the tall fella about it(who by the way put his finger up as to shush me until he was ready) I still didn’t get service but the fella next to me did. I then just walked to the register and paid my bill. That kind of service is uncalled for. 7 people, including myself and a friend, left because of this service.
Mediocre food, takes far too long to get a drink if they are slightly busy, and the place is not vapor friendly considering the staff gets confrontational if you blow your vapor out in front of you. After all it is a bar that allows smoking so one would think you can blow out your smoke (or in this case vapor) with out the staff getting really upset and belligerent. Instead we were told to blow it up down or behind us. Also made the comparison of blowing smoke in front of us to spotting in the staff’s face. No problem though there’s far better place to go in the city.
