The place is a hole in the wall but I’m guessing the rent is cheap. Overall the food is good and well priced. All the tables were full so others must agree. Try the Hollywood salad and the bento boxes. Cheap but delicious and filling. The yellow tail neck was very good also. Noodle salad is very similar to Mikimotos. Best sushi around this part of town.

Pedestrian. 1. First time ever, at a sushi place, where I was not given hot wet towel. I had to walk all the way to the restroom to wash my hands — oh, the inhumanity.2. Not as big a selection of sushi as most other places I have gone locally. 3. Quality of fish was very good.4 Prices as high as anywhere else ($4.50 for tuna), which is too high for the pedestrian decoration — the light wood two-tiered sushi bar was just fine, but the stackable banquet chairs seemed too low for it. 5 The sushi chef (owner methinks) had a gruff Japanese voice like a businessman in a Kurosawa movie (a positive).6. I went because I had just shopped at the Rouses (probably the worst Rouses in the chain) and did not feel like driving to Shogun, where I will go next time I get that hankering.

Great place, great price. Went there last night with my wife. Had the Alabama roll, Rice paper roll and valentine roll all for a very good price and left satisfied. Very nice staff and a very bear bones location (so you know you aren’t paying for location). Would highly recommend you try this place especially if you are on Causeway or Airline. Compared to Little Tokyo, the selection is smaller but the quality and price are better.

Excellent food all around and very friendly staff. I lived in Japan for 2 years and this is the best sushi I’ve had since coming back to the states.

UNFORGETTABLE!!!!. One of the best hidden secret in Metairie. The Unforgettable Roll, Softshell Crab Roll and actually any of their amazing dishes are great. Service is great! It is the first place when you turn off on Airline to go to Rouses. Excellent and friendly!!

If you are in a hurry for lunch, don’t stop here. Took over 40 minutes to get a pickup order. It’s not like they had to cook anything, right?
