When we got to the restaurant the place was lit up like a Christmas tree. The hostess asked to seat us, then she never came back to seat us. By the time I went to the restroom and came back my friend had gotten the attention of the restaurant manager. We were seated immediately after the manager came to our rescue. We began our meal with the duck empanadas. The duck was so flavorful and well seasoned. The empanada pastry was soft, flaky, and chewy. The pastry paired so well with the duck. I ate herb garlic roasted chicken, red beans and rice, and asparagus. The food was hot upon delivery. The chicken was so tender it was falling off the bone. The asparagus was over cooked slightly. The red beans and rice were spectacular. I added hushpuppies to my dinner. They were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. As we were sitting there enjoying our meal this state of euphoria came over both of us. We immediately went home and fell straight to sleep. The food was reheated we ate again, it was just as delicious the second go round!

The wait time was nil, the food was out quickly, the restaurant was spotless, the waiter knew the menu offerings inside and out, and everything tasted delicious. What more could a girl ask for?
