  Awesome!. We used to live in Minden, but moved to Shreveport a few years ago. I’m happy for Mindenites that they finally have a Mexican restaurant as good as any in the ‘big city.’. I ordered the flautas, and requested pork, which was not on the menu. They were delectable! And the beer I was able to order with my meal? Why didn’t they pass that law while we lived there? Why, Minden, why?

  The BEST…I wanna go back now!!. If I could give a place 10 stars this would place would get it. My husband and I have had Mexican food at the best places in New Orleans and in Manhattan Beach, but this place trumps all of them. We walked in and we were greeted and seated. The place was CLEAN, IMMACULATE! They have the best artwork all over the walls, exotic like straight from Mexico. Then our waitress Alexis, so sweet and attentive, she made sure we were happy, warm fresh chips and the best salsa made fresh I have ever eaten was brought to our table instantly, the queso was just right, I knew the food was gonna be top notch. I ordered a frozen lime Marguerita and I had the shrimp chimichanga My hubby had the seafood chimichanga…so delish, it was hot when it came out and was still warm by the time I almost finished. All the food we had and salsa was perfectly seasoned, you can tell they take pride in their cooking and presentation. When we got the bill, that was the best part, it was reasonably priced, just right for what we ordered. I stopped going and recommending alot of places because they overcharge and it is not even with the services or goods. This place is not overly priced or under priced, it’s just right. We will be back and we will send everyone we know that will be in that area!!! Thank you!

  Best original Mexican restaurant in Louisiana! I ordered the fajitas hawaiianas, wow! It was served on a hot skillet. The meet was tender and bursting with flavor. The rice, beans, and guacamole added the perfect touch to my meal. Two thumbs up !!

  Great Mexican Restaurant. This is a very good mexican restaurant with nice wait staff, and a nice atmosphere. The food and chips are always fresh! I have been to many Mexican restaurants, and I would rate this one of the best. Especially if you like the great white cheese on the enchiladas!

  JUST BAD. Ordered a nacho to go – ordered meat, cheese, and lettuce – got home – (2 blocks away) opened it – no cheese at all on the nacho – so i thought well i’ll add cheese but then i took a bite first and it was COLD – not lukewarm – ice cold! The chips were a soggy grease laden mess that no amount of cheese could have covered up. I called to tell them of the problem and his response when I said it was cold was that it was because I added lettuce. I work in a mexican restaurant – adding lettuce on top of a nacho doesn’t make the meat icy. He did ask if I wanted a free one next time I came in – told him no thanks cuz I wouldn’t be back. Thought I might at least salvage the chips and hot sauce but it was more like tomato water – no body and no flavor. This is one of those I’ll never go back to. What a waste of 10 bucks.

  Wonderful!. About time Minden gets a good Mexican restaurant! They staff are friendly and quick, and the food is great. Plus, they offer some unique menu options vs. the other Mexican restaurants in town. Best of all, they have the white queso sauce! 😀
