A hidden gem. Simply delicious soul food. Traveling through Minden, we stopped at this place due to other reviews we read. It was a quaint and quiet little restaurant tucked back in to a neighborhood, hard to find, but worth it. My husband had fried chicken, turnip greens, and purple hull peas. I had chicken fried steak with new potatoes and green beans. We kept switching our plates back and forth. I think we moaned at the waiter when he asked if everything was good. Can t say enough about this place.
Great Place for Good Home Cookin. I was out in Minden for business. My client suggested this restaurant. The food was delicious, simple and filling. Yum.
Great home cooking at a low price. one of my favorite places to eat. The only thing I don’t like are their hours. They are only open for lunch and only on weekdays.
Good home cooked food. Closed on Sat. And Sun.
