  Incredibly good shrimp poboys. They offer grilled as well as fried, and both are very good. I like how they give laingappe with their meals.

  Unsatisfied customer. Stopped on wells road to eat @sam’s eatery because i always go to minden and decided to try this one out. i spotted a drive thru window which was better for me because i had traveled from tallulah,la. well approached the window and ask the cashier for a menu she say we are out, i understood so i ask her to share the menu prices with me on the stuffed shrimps, she said hold on and she asked another cashier to come help me and they debated for about 10 mins who will come help me, finally the 2nd cashier started toward the back and the 1st cashier stopped her and said read the menu prices to her and she came with a side way smile and gave me the prices so i decided to order (1) stuffed [email protected] sides saladand fries, (1) 4n4 sides salad and fries, (2) extra sauces@ .69 cent a piece, (2) large dr. peppers@ 1.99 a piece and (2) misc for salad dressing when i thought it should come with salads. i spent a total of $30.32. ok pulled around to front to wait for order and when she came out with order we were in a hurry and left for the interstate 20 bound to ruston. made it home everything wasok with the fish plate but the stuffed shrimps was over cooked!!! the inside was dried out and the shrimp was rubbery… i am a constant customer in minden and the food and service there is great !!! i order same orders every time and advertise how great sam’s is but i wasn’t satisfied this time around . i think i will continue to travel to minden for great service . just thought you needed to know of the service i experienced…..unhappy customer

  My new favorite place to eat. I cant believe the amount of food you get at this place. Order 3 shrimp and 3 fish and they give you 6 shrimp and 5 or 6 fish!! The food is seasoned perfectly and it tastes so good. Friendly service. Great prices. These people know how to make their customers happy and they know what it takes to make their customers return. When you leave there it makes you feel like these folks love you!!!! Im serious, the food is awesome!!!

  Ehhh…. ok. I’m not sure which location everyone else ate at, but we tried the North Market Sam’s. From all the reviews posted, I was expected tons of food, cheap price, and great taste. I only got one- cheap! The food is ok- my husband liked the fries the best. The seafood just wasn’t seasoned very well. Sure, the shrimp are jumbo and you probably can’t beat the price, but doesn’t anyone consider the actual QUALITY of the food anymore? This location had an odd stale smoke smell to me; although, my husband didn’t seem to notice. Pros- Cheap Seafood, Don’t have to tip, great friesCons- Not seasoned very well, restaurant smelled

  Wow amazing!!! When I added the pictures of this place my comments didn’t save…. But I order 8 piece shrimp and fried pickles. After eating 4 of the 12 shrimp on my plate( yes 12 and I ordered 8) I found 3 pieces of fish. So my 8 piece shrimp was actually 12 piece shrimp and 3 fish.

  Keep in mind you WILL get extra food for FREE!! The first time I went my 8 piece shrimp basket had 15 shrimp in it. If only ATM’s worked this way!
