5lb Crawfish with Potatoes and Corn. It’s so good

Loved it!!!!. We had came to town with intentions of eating at another place but they were closed. So we stopped and asked a policeman and he sent us here. At first glance it’s a fright, but my daughter’s boyfriend said let’s give it a shot. So we went in and we were glad we stayed! The food was amazing! Crawfish was good and spicy! The shrimp and etouffee and catfish was perfect! Our waitress was very attentive. The owner came over to make sure we were ok several times! Loved it and if we are ever in the area again, we will be coming back!!!

If you like excessively loud music and clouds of smoke – this is the place for you!!!. We went for my great nephew’s birthday party. It was not our first choice, but our first choice was closed – so at the last minute we went here. UGH! I really didn’t want to go because I knew the inside was not taken care of and just kind of nasty looking. Because it was crawfish season, the only place for us was outside in the tent. At first I thought that might not be too bad – even though it was chilly. However, I didn’t count on music so loud the only way to converse was by lean close and yelling at one another. We sort of screamed the Happy Birthday song because one end of the table couldn’t hear the other end. That wasn’t the worst part though. The worst part was the SMOKE! We had no idea that the creeps in the city council had made some changes to the Smoke Free Monroe they had spent so much time advertizing. They amended it to allow smoking within 5 feet of the building. Well, if you are sealed up in a tent with a bunch of chain smokers, guess what happens? I am allergic to smoke and complained, so they opened the tent flap a bit and turned on the A/C. I don’t think a tent with A/C qualifies as an outdoor venue. So I got to spend a few days with my sinuses pouring, and hacking and coughing. As for the food – if you were eating boiled crawfish, it came quickly and was good. If you wanted anything else, you were told you would have to wait awhile. So, as long as it takes to eat 5 pounds of crawfish, the ones eating those were completely finished before the rest of us got any food. Even the salads came afterwards! Hamburgers came last and I was told they were not good. I got grilled catfish and it was excellent. But I couldn’t enjoy anything with my sinuses pouring. I will not go back!

All I have to say is ick, gross, and don’t go. You would think the owners would invest some of the earnings to fix up the place. Guess not.

Smoking!!!. We would have loved to sit in the tent area and enjoyed the food but we had several small children with us and people were smoking everywhere in this tent..RUDE!!! You see there are kids sitting in here eating and this is not the 50’s. Take it outside!! And FYI I am a smoker too..Crawfish and shrimp were both great!! Service was HORRIBLE!! Waitresses are extremely RUDE!! Took almost 2.5 hours to get crawfish and boiled shrimp, and then still had all the orders messed up. And the inside is dirty dirty. So, if you’re ok with being treated like dirt and sitting in a smoky or dirty atmosphere for at least an hour to eat some decent crawfish..help yourself.

We’ve eaten here a few times this season. The crawfish taste great although they are very small. It is extremely filthy. The waitresses work their butts off for the amount of people they serve, although they are not friendly. One very rude waitress told us to order everything we need at once because she wouldn’t be back. She has been very rude everytime. The bands are good but the sound system sucks. A good place to eat crawfish if you aren’t the goody-goody type.
