Not Good at ALL !. Just had a lunch special Togo and the food was mediocre. My taco was soggy and wet after being place in the same container with my warm beans and rice. The price was higher that the menu price online and the chips tasted burnt. I love Mexican food but I will never go to this place again. Don’t waste you money…..

Best Mexican Food in Town!. El Jarrito is one of those few places that has won me over unconditionally. The prices are right, the food is good, and the portions are perfect. The food is always fresh, and served fast. This is one of the few places in town where you can go for lunch (something that is not fast food) sit down, have your meal, have a beer and still make it back to the office with 15 minutes to spare (assuming you have an hour lunch break).I have never been disappointed with the food or quality of service! Do not waste your time trying the other Mexican places in town, like I did when I moved here, Chicos, Pueblo Viejo and Chile Verde just do not compare. However, La Hacienda that opened up several months ago on Cypress in West Monroe, has basically identical quality of food & prices, but is always empty! I like the warmer, louder and more homey feel that El Jarrito provides though!
