Beware. Menu prices listed here are completely wrong….. I paid $7 fo 1egg 1very small piece of ham and a spoonful of hash browns with toast. Extremely small portions and I was highly disappointed. The value is not there at all. I will never go there again. I can eat at a place like Cracker Barrel or IHOP and get a lot more for my money and the food is better.
Best Breakfast. This is the best breakfast in the area, value and taste wise. The Mello Joy coffee is very good considering it isn’t from a press. I always get the whole breakfast; scrambled eggs with cheese, wheat toast, hashbrown caserole and ham. This is plenty of food and doesn’t leave me wanting more. The price is very reasonable for the quantity. I love waffle house or cracker barrel as much as the next guy, but they don’t compare. This place is special.
Leas in Monroe, La is a place everyone should visit if you like good southern down home cooking. The friendly atmosphere compliments the owners Toby and Emmy Traylor.. Their pies n hams are famous, so if you haven’t been there, I think you should make it a point to go. High fives to the manager Scott Banks, their terrific cook DeDe, and server Cheryl…
A Louisiana Legend. Simply put: the best pies in the state!Breakfasts are fast and cheap with excellent Mello Joy coffee served hot in thick white cups.Lunch is country style and often is very good.
Great Lunch Place. The chocolate pie is heaven. That said, we have been for a late lunch several times (always after the lunch rush) and the service was always great, quick, and friendly. We usually do the meat-and-two plates based on whatever their specials are and it has always been good. Only complaint -not a fan of their gumbo. But everything else has been delicious!
Fantastic food! Real smooth, downhome feel and great waitstaff. Just really, really nice! Unbelievable pies…that goes without saying. They’re world famous for a reason, I guess.
Love their breakfast. Great old-fashioned place to enjoy a big breakfast. Service and food have been dependable. Best ham I’ve had in ages. Nothing fancy, but always a treat.
