Excellent food and atmosphere. My husband and I visited the LongHorn’s in Monroe for our anniversary, and the food was excellent. While we did have to wait a bit for a table (~30 mins), it was worth it. We had the tonions for our appetizer, and enjoyed the decor and ambiance. When the food arrived, it was neatly plated and looked wonderful. Let me tell you: it tasted as good as it looked. I had the parmesan-crusted chicken, asparagus, and mac n cheese… all excellent. My husband, who is a food snob, said his steak was cooked to perfection and his Montana Mule is probably his new favorite drink. There was plenty to take home and snack on later. I would definitely recommend LongHorn’s to anyone visiting the area. The people were so friendly, the atmosphere was great, and the food was excellent.
My husband & I had a horrible experience here this afternoon. Our server, Amanda, flat out argued with us & refused to correct an error made in the kitchen until we were leaving. My husband ordered the Grilled Lobster Chops, but asked if the citrus rice could be substituted for French fries. She said that would be fine. When his meal arrived, there was no fire-grilled corn on the cob as stated on the menu. We questioned her about it & she said it didn’t come with the corn on the cob but said she would check out the menu. She came back about 10 minutes later & said some meals come with 2 sides & some come with 1 side & that no corn on the cob was served with the lobster chops. We showed her on our phones using Longhorn’s online menu where it did, if fact, come with corn on the cob. She argued with us still! Then my husband asked her to just bring us the check. We were beyond furious over this corn on the cob. After we paid our check, she then offered to bring us some corn on the cob. At that point we were done. We had already eaten our meals & were just ready to get out of there. Why did she feel the need to argue over this stupid corn on the cob with us twice instead of just correcting the error apparently made in the kitchen?!?! We most certainly will not be back.
My first experience, which was a last minute/late decision was a mistake I wish I could take back. We get there 1 hour before closing and the manager acted as though it was a hassle to seat us. There was ONE other table seated. We waited about 10 minutes for drinks… Our waitress was very kind, almost trying to make up for her jerk of a boss. Food was ok, I might have been able to enjoy my meal if it wasn’t so cold in there. Apparently in an effort to prepare for closing (probably over an hour prior to) the manager turned to heat off. I have never been so cold in a restaurant and been refused heat. This place is simply infuriating and I won’t be going there again.
Service is awful. Hostess was RUDE. even tried to seat someone in a wheelchair at a high table & acted offended when they asked for a short table. Wait was long. This party of 8 will not be back.
Delicious filet BAD service. The servers, hosts, and even bartenders always act as if they would rather be anywhere than there. The food is usually good, but the service is dismal.
Favorite of the chains. I don’t like critiquing chain restaurants, but I really like this one. They never mess up my order, service is prompt without being overwhelming and the price is fine for what you get.There is always something new to try.
This place has really great food! Love the grilled shrimp.
