This has to be one of the best restaurants in this area. I usually get the grits and shrimp or the mashed potatoes with shrimp. Omg to die for. I prefer the mashed with shrimp. Comes out in a big bowl and it is so good. Get the Queso. I repeat get a bowl of Queso. I dont drink but there is a bar here inside restaurant that usually has a pretty good crowd. The steaks are awesome here as usual. You wont regret coming to this restaurant.
Started with the board stating the wrong soup of the day. The turkey and avocado sandwich should be called a cold turkey sandwich. 2 baby slices of avocado placed on the bottom (pictured), when a sandwich cost as much as that you would expect more than 2 slices of avocado. The Gumbo was GREASY. So much oil was on the top of the gumbo you couldnt eat it. And the cheese grits are comical. They are normal (unsalted/unseasoned) grits with a few shreds of cheese placed on top. Highly disappointed with this place.
