This place is fantastic. It’s just a couple blocks off the interstate so if your driving through Monroe forget the chain restaurants and try The Kitchen for some local flavor. You will not regret it.

What a great restaurant! It was a taste of real southern food. I got red beans rice and sausage. It was honestly the best ive ever had. They had huge burgers too. Its a hidden surprise, and really cheap too.
Great breakfast at reasonable prices. Hamburgers are really good. They serve plate lunches too!
