Waterfront is a great environment. The food is good but not great. I’ve only ever had one great dish here, seared tuna. Everything else is reliant on catfish. I can’t rate it higher if that’s your specialty.
This place serves some of the best food anywhere. The view is spectacular, post card perfect. Ordered the BBQ shrimp for an appetizer, it was so flavorful! I ordered the catfish desiard for dinner, a house specialty, and it was delicious. The asparagus was tender and tasty, well seasoned. Service was excellent, prices reasonable. Stopped in on way through town. Excellent food! Try Clays ribeye sandwich or ahi tuna salad!!
I like the food and other elements in a restaurant but when i hear busboy passing me saying chingchong just beacause i’m asian i wanted to tell the owner or the manager about the busboy so they can fire him but i did not want to make my self same level as that boy please do not hire low life trailer trash that decreases quality of your business
This is my favorite restaurant in the parish. Everything grilled with flavor. Outstanding steaks and pork chops. Don’t understand how they fully cook porkchops without drying them out. Excellent gumbo with dark, rich roux.
My favorite is the New Orleans Style Barbeque Shrimp and my husband loves the pork chops. Gumbo is excellent & steaks are wonderful if that’s your preference. Great atmosphere…Love this place!
