Gotta Love Them!!!. December 2012 I had the gastric sleeve surgery, which has made my eating choices cut down 90%. my favorite restaurant was and still is Atchafalya Cafe in Morgan City. Bella and the staff are awesome. Today we went in for lunch and I could not decide because I eat so little now. They suggested I order off the kids menu and I did. I got to have my chicken tenders in a smaller portion and what I didn’t eat they packed up for my late afternoon snack. (propably my dinner) I am so glad they are here in town.27 May, 2012This is by far my favorite restaurant in town. I have never been disappointed. The poboys, salads, lunch specials and entrees are all great. The staff is so friendly you feel right at home. I am so glad they open on Saturday nights I don’t have to leave town now.

Wonderful! Crab cake appetizer was the best we have had in a long time! The shrimp and oysters were yummy!!
My fiance and I are from Texas and he is here for 6 weeks…we were getting really frustrated at the lack of decent food and we then came here! We were not disappointed!! Great food and service! Have not found that anywhere else here!
Great food, wonderful service–will be back. The gumbo, Bayou Pasta, Blackened Grilled Chicken, & the Bam Poboy all received rave reviews.
Not a chain but a real deal mom n pop place with good food
The eggplant fries are awesome!!! Everything here is awesome… Food is good, people are the nicest, and a cute Cajun atmosphere …. Perfect place for a relaxed, casual lunch 😉
