I was passing through Morgan City and checked for a local place to eat. It is rare that any resturant of any kind gets an approval rating in the upper 90s so I had to see what all the fuss was about.The Friday seafood buffet is a good deal for )13.00. The food from gumbo, fresh greens salad, fried catfish & shrimp as well as eggplant casserole and white beans were all good. I could not find a negative in any of the dishes.
Had the best Sweet Potato Bacon Soup the other night. Heather is an awesome cook. Very creative. Service is always great!

Bring your mother-in-law. Southern Cooking lunch buffet. Dinner is topnotch. A choice for everyone. My favorite is the ribeye steak. mmmm mmmm good!
Morgan’s Restaurant. My entire dinner experience was awesome. From the delicious food to the quality service- Morgan’s really has it all. The mahi mahi was moist and seasoned to perfection, as well as the asparagus! My daughter’s Red Rooster pasta was amazing. The sauce had the perfect blend of spice and alfredo. As far as the pickled okra goes, my daughter only gave me one. It was a nice addition to a great meal, and I look forward to eating many more dinners there with my family. I strongly suggest for everyone to give them a try!
