  Meh. Really enjoyed the first few bites of my cheeseburger, but as I continued, the overwhelming amount of pepper ruined it. And no, I’m not a wimp – I love spicy food. Hubby’s BBQ Beef poboy was too sweet and clovy. The french fries and tater tots (especially tots) would have been really good, had they not been cold. You see, hubby and son went to grab food to go, and AFTER placing the order and paying, were informed that they were OUT of hamburger meat (at about 5:45pm), and that they would have to wait while they seasoned more. Forty-five minutes later, the food was handed over, with the potatoes and milkshakes having clearly been waiting for the burgers to be ready, as the former were no longer hot, and the latter were mostly melted. Won’t be back.

  Good burgers and lunch specials. Gumbo is really good too. Service is chaotic during the mid-day rush and dining room is noisy. Not a good place to sit and relax. Get a good home cooked meal and make room for the next group of diners.

  Great hamburgers and of course, hamburger steak dinner! Reasonably priced! Can’t wait to try move of the menu here. Service is pretty good but it’s a small business, don’t expect 4 star service in a place that serves a home cooked meal. Great food and I can’t wait to try more.
