My husband and his dad both still love this place, even though they both say that the food has went downhill big time over the years. Im newer to it than they are, but I dont find it great at all. I do like the fact that they put a lot of shrimp or crawfish on their po-boys, but I find their bread way too hard. Its like it must have been stale before they toasted it. I love toasted French bread for a po-boy, but theirs is just too hard. Then the fried seafood seems overly greasy, even for fried food, maybe thats just me though. Most if there food just seems blah, and all the seafood seems to taste the same. It also seems that most of the time the catfish is more likely tilapia. Im just not impressed at all. The foods edible, but that is about it. I also have an issue with the fact that ever time Ive been in I cant find a clean table without food on it. The place will be empty of other customers with plenty of workers standing around, yet no one has cleaned the tables. We havent bother doing anything but to go orders for awhile because of this.
