Best Mexican food Ive found in New Iberia. It could use improvement, and the service could definitely use improvement. Having the hostess helping where she cant see when people come in the door is a bad idea. It wasnt until after several minutes that I finally walked past the wait to be seated sign and past the hostesss podium that someone finally came to seat us. She said she didnt know we were there and apologized. I saw she was back by the counter where wait staff pick up food. When we left, I had to tell another group to step past the sign because the hostess was at a table by the kitchen rolling silverware and wont see them there. The group looked like they were about to leave. I bet this places looses a lot of business because of this. The hostess needs to stay at the podium, move the sign & podium back or that wall needs to be taken down so they can see from the area by the kitchen if someone comes in the door.
